28 rue du Fer à Moulin, 75005 Paris
The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris in the Mouffetard district offers a bilingual, active education of excellence in a setting that is ideally suited to your children.
It benefits from The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris' 50 years of experience in bilingualism and active learning through Montessori pedagogy.
Our Director of Education, Laurent Lévy, has directed renowned schools. He supervises the English and French teams, drawing on his 25 years of experience in pedagogy.
The School
Nestled in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, like a small house with blue windows, the school welcomes children from 2.5 to 6 years old in a calm and protective cocoon.
With a supervision rate of one adult for a maximum of 8 children, the school offers very favorable conditions for learning and development. This support allows the two teachers (English speaking and French speaking), to follow each child in his or her individual development. They take the time to observe the child, to understand his/her learning needs, to listen to him, to answer to his emotional needs... and thus ensure a smooth transition between early childhood and school.
Each week, the children benefit from music classes (1.5 hours), art classes (1.5 hours), introduction to yoga and outdoor botanical and gardening activities.
As the children stay in the class for several years, adults and children, and children among themselves build a relationship of trust. At the end of the school year, we are just saying goodbye: "we meet again after the summer! ". This peaceful construction, over a long period of time, favors both learning (no time wasted adjusting the relationship with the "new teacher", the new rules at the beginning of the school year) and human relations in the classroom.
By combining excellent active teaching, bilingualism and a range of artistic and practical activities, we promote the development of the child and the blossoming of his or her full potential.
Baking and Gardening!
In this children's house, in addition to learning with Montessori materials, the children can cook and garden!
Every day, children make the bread that will be eaten at lunch: they learn to weigh the ingredients, work together, participate in the life of the class... A moment of sharing that they will remember for years.
Afternoons can also be an opportunity to enjoy our little shared garden: we dig, we plant, we have fingers full of soil, we collect leaves... beautiful outdoor discoveries on which, back in the classroom, we will work with the Montessori botany cabinet or the exploration of the life cycle of the plant. Discovery through experimentation!
Neighborhood
The Mouffetard district is one of the oldest districts of Paris. In the foothills of the "mountain" Sainte-Geneviève, the Mouffetard street brings the animation of its shops, cafes and restaurants. In the heart of this lively neighborhood and facing a garden, we have chosen a small, protected and warm place to house our school and welcome our young students.
Every day is different with the children and this is what makes us happy, but here is an example of a school day.

Bilingual After-school with Pari-Grandir (After school week, Wednesdays and Holidays)
Our partner Pari-Grandir welcomes children on week after-school, on Wednesdays and during the school holidays. Created in 2011, Pari-Grandir is the first bilingual, edutainment learning program that combines education and entertainment to teach children English. They are dedicated to giving your children a space for innovative learning. Kids ages 3-10 can enjoy the benefits of a bilingual program.
The after-school activities run by Pari-Grandir are opened to school children in priority. The Pari-Grandir team, composed of qualified professionals, takes over from our pedagogical teams and take care of your children directly in the school.
Each week, families enrolled with Pari-Grandir receive the week's schedule by email, allowing them to follow their child's activities.
Every 2 months, families receive a secure link and a temporary password allowing them to view and download the memories of the past period via our website.
During the school holidays, Pari-Grandir becomes a small leisure center. A lot of cultural and artistic activities are offered, as well as many outings of all kinds.
These extracurricular activities are led by native English and French speakers. Each speaker communicates with the children only in their own language. The learning of English is done in immersion, both through games and daily life.
